Increase or decrease power during cut

Hello
I have just upgraded my laser controller from Leetro M6515 to Ruida 6442.
Is it possible to reduce or increase the laser power during a cut or engrave directly for the ruida control panel once the job has been sent to the machine and is being processed. It was possible to do that on the Leetro controller just by using the arrow keys. Any such option to do this without having to stop the job and going back to the software to make changes and upload again.

Thanks

Once a job is sent, it is sent as a complete package and will also be processed as such. There is no possibility of changing the data sent. With G-code machines, data is sometimes streamed, here it is possible to change some parameter. (speed and power)
Whether there are additional machines (like G-code machines), with the possibility of manipulation of sent data while running, I do not know

Yes, you can change the min/max/speed as it’s executing a job from the machines console.

Select what you want to change and use the cursor keys to change each digit. I used to do this a lot when it was clear I needed more power or speed.

@Jack, what is the difference between what I have written and what you are coming up with? Did I express myself incorrectly?

I doubt the data is changed, but you can change the power and speed while it’s executing… Don’t know how it does it… … mirrors maybe

I read your answer as no, except maybe grbl…

Did I misinterpret you note?

“here it is possible to change some parameter. (speed and power)“

This isn’t streamed. the whole file is loaded into the Ruida and you must use the console.

I have not mentioned Ruida at all

I understood the question was pertaining to a Ruida, since that’s what’s listed in his profile… ??? He doesn’t appear to have a grbl machine.

“Once a job is sent, it is sent as a complete package and will also be processed as such. There is no possibility of changing the data sent. “

I answered that too, the rest is just extra info…

I guess I’m lost here… :poop:
