Increase Work Space size outside lense limit

I have a project twice the size of my lense. I plane to break it in two segments and index each half. Because my work space is half the size of the project , you cannot preview the whole project without error going outside work area. Other than that warning, is there any reason why I can’t double my work space to eliminate error or warning and see the whole preview?
It just to make sure segments stay in alignment when fine tuning alignment.

Lying to the controller and LightBurn about the actual machinery is a bad idea, because they will know travel in those fake regions is permissible. This will lead to crashes, heartache, and confusion.

Instead, use LightBurn’s Print-and-Cut to align the sections.

Before you do that, add targets for Print-and-Cut and include those targets in both sections. Duplicate the whole layout, crop / mask images or cut the vectors you don’t want from each section, then burn the sections with proper alignment and without the need to lie to your controller.

Better to do it right than do it twice, but I recommend a few practice runs on cardboard before deploying the good stuff.

I believe Rob may be on a galvo machine and I suspect Print and Cut is likely not to work there…

Dang!

Your right, it’s Galvo

And this is only preview. The second segment is turned off for the burn.

Is there something specific you’re looking for in the full Preview? If you do this, perhaps create a separate device just for previewing so that you’re not changing this on your primary device profile.
