Increased Run Time

I am not sure what setting/updates have changed since June, but my jobs are now taking at least 50% more time. The job I am trying to run now originally printed in 13 minutes. My preview window still shows that as the estimate. When I run the job, the progress is only at about 30% at the end of the 13 minute time and it took 26 minutes to actually complete. With Batch jobs on one screen, the hours increase is not realistic. (3 hours before to 10 hours now).

I’ve looked through LightBurn forums, and have seen a few other people ask about this large increase in time, double and triple original times from jobs previously run.
I have tried “Read from the Controller”, but it doesn’t affect the original Preview times, and I don’t think this is really the issue I want to fix.
I have tried the Optimization settings, numerous combinations, and watched multiple support videos from LightBurn.
I’ve tried to “reset” LightBurn back to the original by opening Files-Preferences-Open Preferences Folder and moving prefs.ini to the Trash (on a Mac Airbook).

I have a Creality Falcon2 40watt laser and I have been using it with LightBurn since January. Up until this past month, it’s been a learning process, but everything has been working. Now for the past month, I am becoming increasinlgy frustrated with the time the laser is taking.

Hoping someone can help!

Maybe post a file that you are having trouble with.

UPDATE- I switched back to my desktop computer that runs Microsoft OS instead of my MacBook Air and everything ran as normal.

Any suggestions on connecting the MacBook so it communicates properly?

If you haven’t migrated all the settings, doing so will match a bunch of fiddly details:
