Inkscape T1/T2 Tool Line Color

I set some lines in Inkscape to the colors Google said represented Lightburn T1 and T2 (0c96d9ff for example).

In both cases, when the SVG was opened in Lightburn, it considered these regular cut lines. I’d like to have lines in my Inkscape designs that I know I don’t want to cut or engrave and set them to a T1 or T2 color before importing into Lightburn - is this a thing?

Example: A line in Inkscape set to 0c96d9ff imported as cut line color 14 - not tool line T2 like I wanted.

Thanks ahead of time for any advice on this!

This should help. Downloadable color palette for Inkscape.

We provide downloadable color palettes for several design applications, including InkScape. The following is worth review.

Layer RGB Hex
T1 rgb (243, 105, 38) #F36926
T2 rgb (12,150, 217) #0C96D9

(update: Looks like Tim offered the same link, thank you. I added the rgb and hex values for quick reference.)

In addition to what the other guys have said above you also need to make sure you have the “Allow Importing to Tool Layers” enabled.

The GIMP / Inkscape palette I bashed together from several other versions may be of use:

Works great, including Tool layers with the Allow importing to tool layers switch turned On.

Thanks all - I needed to turn on the option to import tool layers. That was it!
