Insert Gcode to SD card

Hello,

I have a Falcon 2 pro and I want to add the code: $155=0 to remove the lens alarm. I work with lightburn on SD card. Is it possible or do I have to do it with a computer in USB-C? Here is what I tried but nothing happens, the alarm still gives…

Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

It’s easier than you think!

To change a $ Firmware value, input this command in the Console window and press enter.

This only needs to be done once. You should delete the custom Gcode in the Device Settings again.

It should be possible to run the LightBurn generated Gcode directly from your SD Card.
What error message do you see exactly?

ERROR:06.
Lens contamination is detected and the machine has stopped working.
Please press the Reset button and the LENS light will turn orange. You can press the start button to continue working and the lens needs to be cleaned when power off. The LENS will still keep red light flashing when power on. You need to press the reset button again to confirm that the lens is clean and the LENS light will be green.
You can set $155 to 0 to cancel the alarm function (it is recommended to set it according to the actual situation).

I already tried to enter the code $155=0 and enter. But when I save the project on SD card it seems not to take into account the code $155=0. That’s why my question?

So, when you run a job over USB, you don’t get the error?

If you type $$ in the console, it shows you all the firmware values. Check to see if $155 is still 0 after a reboot.

Did you try cleaning the lens instead of turning off the warning?

Yes my falcon 2 pro is new, after 20 hours of use it gives this error message. I want to cancel this error message because the lens is new and it is clean.

Since I don’t have a computer nearby, I wanted to continue working with the SD card. But if that’s not possible, I’ll buy a laptop just for my laser?

Can you tell me if the settings I enter in “console” will also be saved on the Gcode of my SD card?

$155=0 changes the Firmware values on your controller, so your laser needs to be connected to your computer while you enter the command.
