Inspuiten met teflon spray (Spray with teflon spray?)

hello, you can spray the rubber belts of the drive with teflon spray
or is that wrong
grr ronnie

Why do you want to reduce friction on the one part of the drivetrain that requires friction to work properly?

it no longer runs smoothly, stutters a bit but the strings are still tight. I have it in a shed where it is hot and then cold and it is dusty.

Then you must thoroughly clean of all the parts that should move without friction, lubricating as necessary, and verify that you can smoothly move (by hand, with the power off) both axes through their entire range without any rough spots. If either axis moves on soft rollers, check for flat spots due to sitting inactive for a long time.

Verify the belt teeth and motor pinons are clean and haven’t accumulated any dirt, because anything trapped in the teeth will produce irregular motion and poor engraving.

Are you sure the belts are not too tight?

Mine is in the garage and I don’t lubricate the belts on any of my machines with belts… I have a few … don’t know anyone that does lubricate them…

I suspect you have a problem elsewhere…

Good luck
