Installed 1.7.0.0 over 1.7 beta and now won't open

Hi all,
I was running the 1.7 beta on Window 10 machine and it prompted to update to 1.7.0.0 which I did. However, now the application just doesn’t open. No messages, no popups, nothing in task manager. Zilch.

Help! Need to complete a project.

I reinstalled the beta and it’s working again. Phew. Would be good to get the latest installer working though.

Install and update your C++ Redistributable
Once done - run 1.7 installer again

IF it doesn’t work - could you please go to Start menu
Event Viewer

On the left side WIndows Logs > Applications
Do you see any Big Red error related to Lightburn.exe, if so could you share some screenshots of the “general tab” that describe the error.

I just updated to V 1.7.0.0. and my Lighburn does not open

Hi, yes - that fixed it. I was running with version 14.38. Installing 14.40 did the trick. Thanks.
