I am creating files in Illustrator and bringing them into Lightburn. One of the fonts that I use in the design gets converted to the default. The font exists in the Lightburn drop down and I can manually change it back but I have hundreds of files and I’m trying to streamline the workflow. Any suggestions on how to get it to open properly would be appreciated.
My information may be old but I don’t believe LightBurn supports font preservation of text for AI or PDF files. But then again, I didn’t think it imported text either.
If you’re okay with losing the text properties and only care about shapes then convert the text to shapes/outlines prior to import into LightBurn.
If text is important, then try exporting to SVG and see if that works.
