Good day! I am running the latest LB software on a M1 Mac Mini connected to an Omtech 2455, which a few years old, but a solid machine.
Anyway, I was cutting an order last night for a customer. The first sheet of items cut perfectly, but when I cleared the bed of the cut material and put a new sheet of wood down and pressed “start” in the software, the laser head was moving accurately, but the laser was not firing. The e-stop was not triggered and nothing had changed except for the cutting material being a new sheet of 1/8" plywood.
I tried restarting the laser to no avail. I finally restarted LB and all worked as it should. Had never seen this glitch and was curious if anyone else has seen it?
