Invert Image Help

I’m having trouble inverting an image. I’ve read the older posts about inverting/negative image. I’m using 1.1.04 and I don’t have the option. I’ve attached a screenshot. I appreciate any help!

thanks!

Can you share more what you’re trying to do?

The “Negative Image” option is only available for Image layer types. Meaning you need to import a raster graphic image into Lightburn to have that layer.

thanks, I’m trying to invert this. Cabin.lbrn (3.5 MB)

Is this what you expect it to look like?

If so, group the entire house as a single object. Then make sure nothing is selected and first select the outer border of the shaded area, then select house, then Tools->Boolean Difference.

yes, with the exception of the rest being black. How did you do that?

Re-read the bottom of my previous post. I have the instructions there. I’m not sure what you mean by the “rest being black” but simply use whichever outer boundary is correct as the first selection in the Boolean operation. I’m not sure what your intended design is, though, if it’s not the boundary I chose.
