Inverted engraving

Hello there!

So, recently I wanted to engrave one logo for a local football club. The logo is round and has club’s name on it. I engraved this logo on a piece of wood and I realized that laser engraved all area around the club’s name and it didn’t look great. So, than I wanted to engrave only club’s name and to area around name remained unengraved.

Is there any specific option of inverted engraving in the Lightburn program?

Use OFFSET at 0.0 distance.

Or

Duplicate the object in place. Ctrl+D

Without offset.

With offset. I made it into an actual border, but if you use 0 offset you can do without the border.
