Try completely removing CH34x driver and reinstalling again.
Re-installing the serial driver is a good idea.
If that doesn’t work, go to the console panel, click show all, and without moving from the console panel (doing so sometimes silently disables show all, it seems) run the job again and paste the output in the console window into a post here.
