Is it my imagination. Or did the licence cost just double

When I installed the demo about 3 weeks ago (give or take) I thought the licence was $40? I went to purchase the licence today and it’s $80

LightBurn offers two types of licenses, one for GCode systems ($40USD) and one for DSP systems ($80USD), which includes the GCode version. What type of controller/firmware drives your laser? This will determine which version you will need.

Quoting the LightBurn home page:

“We currently support most GCode and Ruida based controllers. GCode controllers, including Grbl, Smoothie, and Grbl-LPC, Marlin, and Ruida controllers, including the RDC6442G/S, RDC6445G, RDC6332G, RDLC-320A, and the R5-DSP are among those supported. The Trocen AWC708C, AWC608 are supported as well.”

Ruida based machine. New to this, I am asuming it is not GCode based? Looks like I will have to go without this awesome software for a month (pensioner here so need to save the extra $40)

Yes, Ruida controller support requires the DSP version.

If you PM me your trial ID I’ll extend it for you to give you more time.
