Is it possible to create varying degrees of shading from this image

I’ve tried using Graysale and setting dpi to 275. The end result is just all one level of shading. The preview was the same. When I preview in adjust image, it looks the way I want it to be created. I would like it to be darker shading, medium shading, light shading as shown if you start from the bottom.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I did search on degrees of shading.

Thanks!

CO2 lasers don’t really afford a way of doing grayscale at different shades. Because of that dithering techniques are typically used to provide the illusion of varying darkness. Try one of the dithered image modes in LightBurn to experiment with this.

Thanks! Much appreciated.

You’ll likely need to add a gradient pass to the solid colours with an image editing software to achieve the effect you’re after.

Thanks for suggesting. More work than I’m willing to put in for the end result.
