Is LightBurn CNC Capable

I was potentially considering purchasing a CNC 3-D mill and attaching a laserhead. Will Lightburn support the CNC function?

It should support the laser depending on controller but not CNC.

I’m allowed to share that LightBurn has a new product offering on its way. It depends on the Mill. If you’re streaming GCode via USB then you should be in good shape.

If there’s a card that plugs into a Desktop PC and proprietary communication, that’s a hard no.

If you have a few specific models in mind, please search the forum and ask here.

Nothing is impossible if you’re willing to swap the controller.
