Is my LTT ils 3nm CO2 laser compatible with lightburn?

Hello Jack.
The machine appears to have basically been split into two parts each with two pcbs.
One side holds the cpu motherboard and is labelled las4 cpu attatched to that is a daughter board labelled las4 ctl.
Internet searches would suggest this(these) boards are(were) industrial boards for laser “control”.
The other section has 2 boards one of which has 4 channels with atmega 8515 driver chips. I assume these 4 chips drive servos for x,y,z planes and laser on/off. The function of the remaining board I’ve yet to determine though it seems to be some kind of interface board???

This thread has been solved… We need to move it another thread as this is no longer the tittle.

Maybe @JohnJohn can move it for us…

This is generally how these are built…

The 8515 is an Atmel (now MicroChip Technology) and is a micro controller… Not a driver… however I don’t have a clue as to what it’s doing.
