On July 1st, my house was broken into and they stole my business laptop out of my garage. I just got it enough money to purchase a new laptop to replace but cannot afford another activation key. I honestly can’t afford to purchase a new key right now since I have had to replace everything that was stolen over the last 22 days. Is there anyway to deactivate my key from the other computer to use it on this one? Any help is appreciated.
Go to the license portal and deactivate the key for that software. That frees up the key.
Use the original key when activating it on the new pc.
You can authorize 2 machines. Of course you want to turn off the stolen copy…

Well, that’s no fun. So sorry to hear. Hopefully, this will be good news for you. You do not need to purchase anything to restore your license key. 
As @jkwilborn identifies, you can visit the license portal (← click this) to deactivate any seats you have allocated, freeing them up for use with your replacement hardware. Please let us know if you encounter any issues, we have access to do the same here, if required.
