Something is definitely astray. At what point did it begin to fail?
This is my 43W machine cutting 5mm sub flooring at 11mm/s@45% power, using a 2" lens. This is with a stock air pump, ventilation and the lid fully open.
Since I don’t know if you’re a master laser operator/maintainer, this give me cause for concern.
At this point, I’m not sure what we’re (you’re) up against.
If you have these three
- properly working tube
- clean and aligned optics
- proper focus
– they work.
Start with the tube and ensure it’s working correctly by a TEM00 test at m1.
Then mark and post your targets for each mirror to the table.
Marking a target is just that. Burning a hole through it, doesn’t tell us much.
