Issue with chuck rotary on fiber laser

I have a Monport 30w MOPA Fiber laser, and am trying to use an Atomstack R1 chuck rotary. Their support told me that it would work with the Monport fiber laser. I have a cable for it, and when I plug it in and turn on the laser, the chuck goes from free spinning to locked up, and when you run a test in light burn it shakes back and forward and makes a loud grinding sound.

double check your stepper connections. Sounds like you have connected the pairs incorrectly.

I’ll take a look at them, nothing was changed on them though. The rotary works on my diode just fine, so it’s got to be the controller for the fiber. I just have to figure out the dip switches
