Hellow.
During cutting, there is a phenomenon of the USB connection being disconnected and then reconnected. Interruptions occur most frequently when there is a long travel distance during the cut. Due to the expired license preventing updates, the system has been reverted to an older version (1.5).

The same happens with Lightburn 1.5?
No, it does not occur. The errors started occurring only recently. Version 1.5.06 was released on March 27, and there should have been no such errors in April. Therefore, I suspect that a bug was introduced due to the feature changes in version 1.6.
Currently, I am using version 1.5.00 as a priority due to the deadline.
If USB gets disconnected and connected again, it’s usually either a problem with the USB cable itself, electrical interference either to the connection or the power supply or a failure of the mainboard of the laser (less likely usually).
Since it only occurs in 1.6, I don’t think it’s a hardware issue.
Yes, as I wrote that, your second comment was not visible yet
Since the LB serial connection has never been really stable, I think it’s possible that there is some bug introduced. You can try to toggle the “enable DTR signal” option, this sometimes helps in connection problems.
