G’Day All, New at this forum stuff, Issue’s that are occurring with program, program only crashes or shuts down when i’m using the node editing, always occurs no matter what version, does not crash every time, Second issue Fonts, when i get towards the bottom of the list the program freezes, not responding, when it does respond can be a few minutes the same occurs if you try again, Last issue is Greyscale, can’t get it to work no matter what i try, was working with the version i first received, i’m able to work around the issue’s i have, after reading some others posts i will go back to an older version to see if grey scale works.
The program should not ‘crash’. That should be reported to support.
When you have a software issue, it’s wise to include the version you are using. It may have been fixed if it was an issue. You can find it under ‘Help → About Lightburn’
Where can’t you get it to work, Lightburn or machine?
What is it not doing?
Photos are good …
If possible can you post the .lbrn2 file (project file)?
We’d love to help, but you are not giving us much information to go on…

I found grayscale difficult to use…

Grayscale on CO2 is not the best option. It will ablate or vaporize your materials more than produce good shading. Try one of the dither options instead for better results. 
As for the crashes or lagging when selecting a thing, please provide greater detail so we can try and reproduce here. Tell us what computer hardware you are using, what else you have running at the time to observe this behavior. Try to remember, we can not “see” what you are experiencing without your words. Offer as many as you can to paint the clearest picture possible. It is really helpful on this end.
Always have sent crash reports, version 1.1.03, CO2 100w Laser, Ruida RDC6445 Controller, There is no white using Greyscale, all that is white also gets shaded, as per screen shots, i’ve tested on different pictures and photos, i can’t take any photo’s of results yet. Tigers test.lbrn2 (405.0 KB)

I rarely use greyscale but i enjoy the effect it gives me on certain projects, as do the rest, i’ve posted screen shot of computer details and not responding, only occurs at lower end of fonts list, only have lightburn program running incase the computer is the issue.

How many fonts do you have installed on your system? Does it always freeze around the same place in the list? (I ask because it’s possible that a specific font is causing the problem)
For the node editing crash, is there anything you can think of that triggers it, or a sequence of things you’re doing that causes the crash?
