Issues with lightburn sending wrong laser settings to laser

Since I updated lightburn to 1.07.08 version when I send a design over to my omtech 100 watt laser the settings set in lightburn for power and speed do not transmit correctly. For example if I have 30speed and 55power set in light burn my laser loads 5speed and 50 power. I have a ruida controller. I know it is not the control because if I use a different software program the setting sent over are transmitted correctly. When I use lightburn I have to set the power and speed I want for the design I have to manually adjust them on the controller.

You forget the units of measurement. That’s probably your problem too. See if there are changes in mm/s and the like.

If I understand this correctly, you’re checking the controller’s display for the layer speed & power settings.

The KT332N controller on my machine shows the manually-set speed & power settings when it’s idle:

When it is running a job, the display shows the settings for the currently active layer:

When it’s done, the display reverts to the manual settings.

Your controller will have a different display, but do my examples match what you see? A few close photos will help us see what you’re seeing.

…same here, but I also have the same controller  :+1:

And we expect the same behavior: hah! :puzzle_piece:

Thanks for all the input when you mentioned needed to know unit of measurement it made me look at lightburn and you were correct lightburn was set to mm/m and my laser mm/s. I changed lightburn to match bmy laser and know it is fine. I appreciate all your responses.
