Issues with "Offset Fill" on Ortur Laser Master 3 causing Error 9

Hello,

I’m using an Ortur Laser Master 3 with an extension to 800x400mm (The most up to date LightBurn, bought two days ago). I’ve encountered a recurring issue when engraving pictures on beer coasters using the “Offset Fill” function.

Sometimes the engraving process completes without any issues, but more often than not, the process stops, and I receive errors in the console. The main errors I see are Error 9 (G-code locked during alarm state or jog state.
On or near line 0:) followed by another Error 9, which seems to halt the operation. Below is a screenshot of the console showing the errors that appear as well as the layers. The project is well within the workspace boundaries, and during the simulation of the laser path, there is no indication that the laser should leave the working area. Despite this, the error still occurs.

This is where the laser stops itself:

I’ve tried troubleshooting on my own, but I haven’t been able to resolve the issue. Any advice or suggestions on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

(My apologies for the Czech language in the console)

Thank you for your help!

Error 9 in effect means - “COntroller is in error mode. something happened”

Scroll up a bit further please you will have an Alarm3 possibly above?
Or Alarm 2

Could you copy/paste the full content of Console please?

Thanks for the fast reply!

This is your problem here.
Your firmware is very old 206, where the Latest is 211
Is known that the early firmware was very sensitive and this caused these types of errors.

It would be important to contact support@ortur3d.com to guides on how to update firmware - as you will need to do two updates. 206 → 207, and then 207>211

Meanwhile, type this command in console
$603=0
Press enter

ALso, can you take a couple pictures of your Y belt tensioners (both sides)

Tried to take photos as clear as possible.

Left side:

Right side:

Your belts are very loose

You need to screw the little screw all the way in until none is seen

I have fixed the tensioners:

I will post an update as soon as I get in touch with the Ortur team.

Thanks for your time and help!
