I’m new to this world iv tried and tried… is there a way to fill the selected area in this case (tongue) with off set fill (squares) with out getting these messages in Lightburn.

You have to clise your shapes.
First duplicate your shapes and put aside as a backup.
Set layer 04 to fill.
Layer 27 shape must be a closed one.
Select layer o4 shape then Ctrl select layer 27 shape and use the Cut Shapes tool.
Now on the PC, is this:
