Job complete clock

On LB main screen , center bottom, for Galvo version, there is a job run time complete clock but it does not work. Does it have to be turned on?

Rob

This is a tricky question for a couple of reasons.

LightBurn is usually set up to Gray-out options that arenā€™t available and make options that arenā€™t applicable disappear entirely.

When you say ā€˜Job complete clockā€™, I think you may be referring to the Progress bar for file transfer for GCode devices.

On a fiber/galvo set up there are Simulation Settings on the tab behind Device Settings. With these Simulation Settings filled in, there would be an elapsed time (estimate) available in the Preview window but iā€™m not seeing the Job Complete clock.

Itā€™s not grayed out and itā€™s bottom front center on main screen.
Not the one in preview.
Is this a Galvo version thing?
Preview estimate is not very good

I was just looking for the same info, hereā€™s a screen shot if it helps, time never changes from 0 before, during or after job finishes

So no answer to this? Does LB actually look at this forum? Or is it all about user that answer. ?

Thank you for checking in. We do, actually, and try to have an eye to every post.

While investigatingā€¦, Oz, LightBurnā€™s lead developer offered, ā€œIā€™m pretty sure the timer on rotary is timing each slice, not the whole job. Each slice is technically a job because of the way it works.ā€ Our internal refinement discussions continue.

So the clock on bottom is not used?
Would be nice for accurate estimating

Agreed.
