I’m not aware of what would cause that. Don’t think it would be an issue.
Do this when you want to use laser:
G10 L2 P1 X-634.998 Y-1195.002 Z0
$10=0
Do this when you want to use CNC:
G10 L2 P1 X0 Y0 Z0
$10=1
Those are the relevant ones for getting you back to conditions for CNC. You didn’t have soft limits on either before so not sure if your workflow relied on that.
“Excellent,” Yeah, But now it won’t jog again. So now I have to go back and unswitch $J and continuous! I’m going to go through the process again and see where I messed up. My apologies for taking so much of your time.
It does work. I made some kind of operational mistake. But it didn’t work with the ‘continuous’ button turned on. Now that it is set because of the macro button you told me to do; upon start up I clicked my laser macro and the continuous jog button didn’t appear. Now I’m seeing this is as it should be. Why it appeared and wouldn’t work, I haven’t a clue. But I’m just out of the starting gate in learning lightburn so I fully expect it’s all me. Thanks again for your help. This is officially ‘resolved.’
