June 2024 Lightburn update 1.6.03 didn't keep prior settings and calibrations

I’m new to Lightburn so this may be normal. When I updated it to the new version in June 2024 (1.4.03 to 1.6.03) the new version did not “keep” the old version’s settings. The laser camera calibration settings are gone as are the “move” saved positions. The new version took an hour to recalibrate the overhead camera and did a terrible job once I finally got it to accept each calibration input. So I’m staying with the previous version for now, unless there is a way to transition these settings to the new version.

For me, all settings have been transferred to any new version. If it didn’t work once, try to install again.

Sometimes you have to manually load the preferences file after an update.
File Menu>Preferences>Import Preferences, choose a file prior to your update.

What is odd is when I open either version they both keep and refer to the same preferences files. If I open either one it updates this file. So I don’t think the calibration settings are in the preferences files.

I don’t usa a camera, so I’m not familiar with those settings. I just know that many people have had issues with the prefs file not translating correctly after an update and the advice is always load an older file from before the update when it worked.
