K40 Lid Bracket for consistent camera positioning?

Does any one have a solution for a k40 mini lid bracket so that i can open the lid 90 deg. consistently to accommodate my light burn camera?

Ive tried this solution:


however it keeps slipping even with 4 rare earth magnets holding it to the case.

I’m looking for a quick easy and cheap fix for consistent lid position when open.

Type in the word stay or metal cover stay or lid support stay into your local hardware store website and see which one takes your fancy. I hope these are the types of brackets you’re looking for. Goodluck
