Konische Tasse mit Lightburn und Rotary Roll gravieren

Hallo zusammen,

irgendwie hakt es noch und hat nicht Klick gemacht. Ich möchte eine konische Tasse gravieren. Hier ist ein Foto der Tasse:

Die Tasse hat folgende Maße:

Höhe: 75mm
Durchmesser oben: 85 mm
Durchmesser unten 71mm

Nun habe ich einen Kasten in Lightburn erstellt und den dann mit Laserwerkzeuge → Warp verjüngen entsprechend angepasst. Aber das Ergebnis ist so garnicht das, was ich erwarte.

Die eine lange Seite ist 91mm. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wie Lightburn auf 91mm kommt. Das habe ich ja nirgends eingegeben.

Garantiert mache ich etwas falsch. Kann mir jemand bitte einen Tipp geben, wie man eine konische Tasse in Lightburn anlegt? Das kann ja nicht so schwer sein.

Did you enabled rotary?

Read the above documents enable and configure rotary, do your Taper Warp, wrap painters tape around the mug and run the job with low power only to mark the tape.

thanks for the answer. Yes, Rotary Mode is activated. And after viewing the picture on the Taper Warp maybe I understand it. I will give it a try. Do I need Taper Warp for all objects? Text and Picture (not a photo).

Second question: Do I really need painters tape? Or can I do it with a whiteboard marker pencil too?

And you wrote “low power”… I have a SF-A9 with 20/40 Watt. Which settings would you recommend?

  1. It affects all graphics. Noticeably more in some than in others.( in the taper warp doc you have the output example)
  2. Painters tape is for not trashing the mug until things are fine-tuned.
  3. You have to find the settings for the tape you’re using, maybe try first a flat job with tape on wood 2000mm/m 20% power (20W mode).

You must also correctly specify where the top is. In your case, the top is at the top and not on the left.
