Hi everyone, I was asked to check out a local schools laser which had “lost power” engraving was OK, but could not cut 3mm ply.

A K40 machine.

I checked MA at 60% 18mA, mirrors and Ahhhh

While doing a test pulse I saw four dots appear in the space of a normal dot. See image.

I haven’t seen this on my machines so want to ask if you have.

Tube is nackered. gasses have leaked I expect or it is just old now.

I have a contact for EFR tubes direct if needed, the X series is great.
