Laser Burn start up resets settings/certains files open, but nothing shows

There was a post a few months ago where using an external drive caused some data loss. Please save your files to a local, unshared directory and test to confirm over the next few days that the files are (or are not) saving properly.

Onedrive and other ‘cloud shared’ file services can be occasionally problematic.

Thank you for that information. I still haven’t had time to mess around with anything. Still researching.
