Laser Cutting paper

Im wanting to start to cut paper with my sculpfun pro max s30. I was wonder what settings id use and what paper peiple would recommend?

Thanks

Settings, fast travel and low power. Paper ignites easily, so you have to be very careful and focused on what you are doing.

What paper? That depends entirely on what you intend to do with it when it is cut. If you share the details of your project, someone can offer up suggestions on which paper to choose. Again, remember you are playing with a fire hazard.

Depends on what you are going to be doing with it…

I cut targets out for alignment purposes out of watercolor paper. It’s relatively thick and makes handling them more easy…

I also use my co2 with a minimal air flow. I cut them on a steel plate…

Can’t help you with speed/power settings… I don’t use the led to cut paper…

Good luck

It heavily depends on the color. White and blue colors will be very hard to cut, since they reflect most energy. White paper is sometimes more difficult to cut than wood. And it has charred edges as well.
As usual: just test. You need to find out for your requirements and your material.

Here is some guidance on settings in general: Settings guide - Diode Laser Wiki
