Finally spent some time and milled out my engraving work space for the Boss LS-1420. It is milled using my CNC Router from .75 inch MDF. It has am 8x8 inch .125 inch deep pocket for positioning small jigs and tiles and has 5 dovetail groves cut that accept the Matchfit Dovetail TTrack hardware. It also has holes across the top to allow good airflow into the exhaust system. The bottom of the piece has a half inch lip that allows it to sit snugly within the Z base (with the knife blades removed). The snug fit makes it self aligning and easy to insert and remove.
