So I built this from my Ortur laser master 2 pro 20watt basically I attached the laser to my CNC machine and started using my CNC controller to control the laser. When I tested this by just using gender and entering basic Gcode laser turned on brightness increased with power change and so. Next phase test it with lightburn that is when issues came up for some reason as soon as I flip the switch to supply power to the fan and laser the laser fires and is maxed out on power. I have tried everything I can think of and I’m at a loss please help.

If you unplug the usb, does it still fire on power up?

The problem is that when you power it up, lightburn is not connected to it, it has to complete the boot and then connect. If lightburn isn’t running it can’t do anything.

If you have not, you should go through the Lightburn Common Grbl Setup and their Coordinate and Job Origin documentation.

So you need to clarify.

did you retry this to ensure this isn’t related to a hardware failure?

Can you ‘unplug’ the laser (so it isn’t firing) and run lightburn properly?
