I have two computers, a laptop, and a desktop. When I installed it on the desktop the laser came on but would not burn. I tried reinstalling and still does not work.
This deserves its own Topic so moved here.
If this is the case then it’s likely one of the following scenarios:
- The units you’re using on the new computer are different than the old computer so may not be comparing apples to apples. Compare units and change appropriately on the new computer in Edit->Settings
- S Value Max setting in Edit->Device Settings may not match $30 value in GRBL configuration. Compare the value from old computer and update new computer to match.
Have you copied the LightBurn prefs file from the laptop to the desktop?
A similar problem with that resolution:
I adjusted the units, but also copied the preference files from the laptop and it worked. Thanks!
