Laser is lasering but no result

Dear all,

I am new in the laser field sector. I built up the machine (I have atomstack a24), and installed LightBurn. Tried to do my first test on a wood plate (2mm thickness). I wanted to laser only “test” into the wood.
My settings were from 100mm/s to 300mm/s and 10% power to 50% but nevertheless nothing happened to the wood.
I also got some tutorials. I cannot find my mistake, that this isn’t working out.
Has anybody an idea what I made wrong or missed at the settings?

First, change your settings to mm/min then try running the material test from 1000 to 6000 mm/min at 10% to 100%. You change the settings in the gears icon, units and grids.

Find the material test under Laser Tools Menu.
