I just set up my longer ray5 with grbl on a toshiba windows 10. It burns the preloaded image but when i go into lightburn it moves and wont burn. I went thru all the settings like videos told me bit i still cant get it to work.
Then settings are incorrect, probably. Show a screenshot of your workspace.

What does this mean? GRBL controllers do not store programs. How do you make it do this? This is for my curiosity.

1 Material?
2. Laser output power?
3. Speed setting?
4. MM/min or mm/sec?
5. Power %?
6. Number of passes?
This is for figuring out why you are getting no burn.

By preloaded image I mean the image on the sd card that comes with the machine.
Material is basswood and im pretty sure i have it set to mm/min. Im not too sure about the rest because i cant find a vedeo to help me. They all tell me what to set things at but dont tell me what they are.
I just read another posting and think you have a control panel on the machine.
The settings I asked for are in the Lightburn Cut Settings Editor window. I think you might find this info useful.
