Laser not appearing within engrave area of cnc

Greetings! I have a Genmitsu 4030 v1 that I purchased along with the 1010 extension and assembled as such. I installed the SainSmart 5.5 laser and lightburn. No matter what I do, on screen, the laser appears outside the engrave area and will not move correctly. Doesn’t matter what origin etc I enter…still won’t show in correct spot. Any help appreciated!!!

Your machine is likely a negative coordinate system. In order for the laser to work properly in LightBurn you’ll need to adjust it to work in positive coordinates.

Did you adjust GRBL configuration $130, $131 to match the extended size?
