Laser burns nice and hot in laser grbl but same setting in lightburn you can hardly see lines? Checked $$ codes are the same. But light burn will not Make a good engraving?
Lightburn advises for a grbl machine…
You might need to adjust your spindle max RPM value ($30) to match the LightBurn default (1000) or vice versa. The value in LightBurn is called "S-Value Max", in the Device Settings.
There should be no difference between either piece of software as far as power output goes…
Thank you but they match I don’t like lazergbrl and I pad for lightburn it works perfectly on my co2 but my foxallian it will no cut 1/8 wood an in lazergbrl cuts easily
The software should work the same as far as output power … if not it would indicate something different in software configuration.
Do you have a dsp co2? Did you create a separate device for each?
One grbl foxallian one monport
Monport works great
Foxallian woks great with lazergbrl but not light burn?
Is the monport a grbl machine?
If the configuration of these two are that same, that’s likely the issue…
Yes I can try deleting the monport to see if it will help I have 3 machines on lightburn
Is this yes to is the monport being grbl or yes to the configuration being the same?
Don’t delete anything unless you make a backup or we ask.
We want to target whatever machine is the problem. I understood it was the Foxallen that isn’t working?
Both grbl foxallian not working right
What do you mean both?
I thought one worked and one did not?
Again, I ask is the monport a grbl based controller?
Yes the monport is grbl control and works fine
Foxallian only works right in lazergbrl not lightburn
Do you haven another device configured for the Foxallen?
How do you know what the correct settings are for each of these?
If they both have the same configuration, that’s likely a problem.
No one foxallian
One monsport
One cheap China made
All named different and different com port
I swapped lasers today with China and foxallian both 40 watt 10 optical same thing
What does this mean?
Now all of your machines fail?
Foxallian board smoked I think it was bad from out of the box. They are sending me a new one. I have had trouble with it since I got it a few weeks ago . So hopefully new control board will fix it. Thanks for your help
