Laser not doing its laser thing

I am the proud owner of a new Cloud 55 pro. I am running Win11 & LB 1.7.01 and connected over USB.
My license is for Gcode, DSP & Galvo.

LB moves the head to frame but when I hit start, it just sits there, no attempt to move. I do get a file send successful but then light goes red. If I open the lid and reclose it the light goes out.

I also tried the offline cloud software and the same thing happens.

Approx 5 min after sending this I found the issue. There is a jumper plug (as per picture) that need to be installed. I am about to go back through the startup/unboxing files because I do not remember seeing info for this.

That looks li is meant to be part of an optional safety interlock. It is the little things that stop us in our tracks.

Every. Stinking. Time. I went through everything and there was no mention of it even being in the kit. I love the laser and the presale support was great. They outdid themselves on shipping, I ordered in on a Monday, they said it would ship on the Friday with 5-7 days for delivery. It was at my door on the Friday.
