I recently upgraded to an xTool S1 20w, and installed the device through Lightburn using these instructions. No matter what I do, when I click “enable pointer offset” under Device Settings and click “OK”, it doesn’t stick. The laser will not offset in any direction, no matter how much or little I tell it to. I’m running the latest firmware from xTool.
I’m on a MacBook Pro, connected to the S1 by USB-C.
Here’s a list of things I’ve tried with no luck:
- Downgraded from LB v2.0.04 and replaced & reinstalled prior versions I’ve saved on my machine (including .03, .02, .00, and also 1.7.08, .04, .03 builds)
- Swapped out my own longer length USB-C cord for the one xTool provided
- Always made sure xTool Creative Suite is not running on my machine, including restarting the S1 after using XCS but before launching LB.
- Changed “Start From” to Absolute Coordinates, Current Position, User Position (I don’t know that this would have any affect, but tried it regardless)
- Tried enabling Laser Offset in old projects and new projects.
I’ve spent time searching around this board and YouTube to figure out what it could be, but I’m stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
