I have a NEJE Master 2S PLUS that I use on my Lightburn software. Recently, I was burning immages on a wood project and all went fine on a number of pieces. After the completion of one of the pieces, my BLUE laser light went off and I have yet to find out the issue or fix. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, to check I’m on the same page. “My BLUE laser light” is that the actual laser that does the work? I assume not an indicator LED? (I don’t have a NEJE).
The first thing I’d check is to power off, then check that all the wiring is firmly seated in its connectors and their counterparts. No strained connections, very tight wiring, or a stray wire from the loom loose from the connectors.
Thank you for your reply. YES, the blue light is the LASER cutting light. I have unplugged and replugged all pins and all power sources. No improvement. Also, I removed and reinstalled the laser into LB in hopes that it would reboot but again no resolve.
If the wiring and connectors are good, that leaves:
The laser module
The control signal from the controller board.
Big assumption: you have not messed with any of the GRBL parameters and the S-value Max in the Device Settings window, Basic Settings tab, is still 1000.
If you have a DVM and know how to use it, we can go farther. If the laser is like 3 years old, my money is on the laser module.
