Hi, I have a 600x400 50w which had the N2 Nano controller, it worked well but I wanted to be able to use Lighburn so i upgraded to RDC6445G. Now all is working well except does not cut a solid line, it a dashed line (and no I don’t have dotted mode on). I increased the laser frequency to 20KHz and the line became dotted but increasing the frequency more doesn’t make any difference. I an only using speed of 60mm/s at 25%. When it is running you can see the amp meter needle just flickering very slightly. Can anyone advise where I am going wrong
I am having the same problem. The laser is pulsing instead of cutting a solid line. I am using a file from last year that I was successful with and this year the laser pulses.
Do you have a K40 type machine? How did you wire the laser power supply and what kind do you have?
The normal lps that came with mine and the Ruida, is yours like that or like a K40?
Changing pwm period doesn’t do much unless you get the period so slow it’s reflected in your output. It should work OK at 20kHz, but some are limited to 1kHz. You might try it slower.
Also check to ensure tabs are not enabled.
