I’ve been using lightburn for about a week (coming from XTool creative space) and feel like I have the basics down pretty well after watching hours of YouTube videos. For the most part everything’s been going pretty well with multiple projects, But with this Christmas ornament, I will randomly get a shifted cut line. I’ve done a few no problem but every once in awhile this shift happens. Can’t replicate it, keeps popping up randomly. It only happens in the upper right quadrant of the project. Thanks in advance for any ideas on how to fix this.
I just had this exact issue it was communication related.
Are you using stock / manufacturer supplied USB cable? They are notoriously terrible and cause errors like that.
It could be a mechanical slippage on one of the pulleys. I would recommend checking the tightness of the couplings that attach to the smooth rods. Check also the tightness of your X axis belt.
I would try moving it away from the corner.
Have a good quality cable going to the PC, and checked the belt tension. What’s weird is if I cut the project using XTool creative space, I have zero issues like this.
How many tries with xTool CS? You said it was random.
My money is on a “not tight enuff” coupling.
