My laser is skipping lines on my tumbler but it’s very inconsistent in the skipping. I’m using a 50 w Chinese laser and I’ve used the hot dog type rotary that came with machine and I’ve also used the Mansfield rotary and experienced skipping with both rotaries. I’ve tried it at different speeds and it skips when I go fast and slower but it doesn’t skip on every project. I can run a file and the skipping will happen but then after I will run the exact same file without changing any settings and it’ll run perfectly. Not only does it skip but at some point it’ll jump back to the beginning line and then go back to where it was. It will also create lines where there shouldn’t be any. I’m brand new to the laser world and would love some input or assistance. Thank you!
