Hello everyone,
I’m encountering an issue with my AtomStack A24 Pro, which I use along with the AtomStack R2 V2 Roller. After about one hour of use, the machine starts to skip certain symbols and lines. Most noticeably, dots and finer details are not being engraved properly.
I’ve attached a screenshot showing the file and the settings I used, as well as an image of the actual result. You can clearly see where the problem occurs. It seems that dots and fine elements are especially affected, while the rest of the design comes out fine.
I’ve noticed this issue with previous projects as well, where dots and point connections weren’t engraved correctly, but other parts of the design came out perfect. Also my first silver plated rings were without any errors - they just came in with further rings being engraved.
I’ve thoroughly searched the forum for similar issues but haven’t found anything that matches my problem. I’ve also gone through all my settings to check if there were any pauses or configurations that might cause the machine to skip dots or lines, but I couldn’t find anything unusual, nor have I deliberately set anything that would cause this behavior.
Here are my software details:
- LightBurn 1.6.03, built Tue 2024-04-30 @ 08:35
- MacOS 14.0 (23A344)
The machine is still fairly new and has only a few hours of runtime, so it’s puzzling that this issue is cropping up now. Previously, everything worked without any problems.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any ideas on what might be causing this? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
