Laser Skips Some Parts in Engraving Area

It could be interesting to see if you turned it all 90 degrees and ran it with less speed and equivalent power. (not because I think 800 mm / min is too fast but just to see the result)
You could also try running this test here, see if there are “holes” in, you must run it with the same parameter as your round plates. (Optimize cut path must be turned off in this test)

My name is Randy Walker. I generally just lerk and read and I haven’t posted here yet, but I have had a similar issue recently.
Try converting your image to a bitmap then try some of the different “Image Mode” options. Your problem is not the wood. I use acres of the stuff and when its a hard spot in the wood you can still see where the laser has partially burned the graphic.
