My laser homes when I start the software no issues there. in the program I have
the “move to position” set. it goes there for starting no problem, when I start the burn it moves to home position then starts burn, it has not done that before until the new update.
Do you have the start from in the laser window set to absolute coordinates?
I thought of that one and tried it still didn’t work all this start after the last update 1.7.08.
Setting it to absolute will force it to use 0, 0 as a start from. Otherwise set it to current or user origin.
Are you setting the origin in Lightburn before using it?
I don’t use grbl much anymore, so I’m a bit rusty.
I got it thank you for your help. there was a setting that was not there before turn on I turned it off and starting working. I could use help with another problem I’ve had when I first got this laser I can’t get it to burn a full 400mm x 400mm it errors out when I try and I have an extension’s for this laser for larger engraving. What I have is an (LONGER 20w)

If you have added extensions to your original machine. Even though you may have set lightburn for the larger size you would probably need to tell the machine it has a large bed. You should be able to do that thru lightburn in the machine settings. Here’s a video
