I’ve been running my laser successfully for 9 months, but now during cuts the laser turns off and head stops moving, lightburn (current version) shows the stream is still in progress. when I press stop in lightburn the software frees up but the machine remains unresponsive. if I unplug the USB going to the controller and plug it back in I regain control of the machine and can home and restart the burn - it will eventually fail again. I’ve checked the USB power settings to make sure they aren’t going to sleep and those settings seem okay. I’ve tried using an older version of Lightburn and the problem is the same. Any ideas?
Mac or Windows PC? Try ethernet.
Windows, and I’m using Ethernet - although I don’t see how that would make a difference?
Is there anything in the way between them? A hub?
Above you said USB.

Thanks JMichael, I’m not sure why I have an interference now and didn’t before but I carefully moved my USB cord and rerouted it away from everything else and I’m back to cutting without issue. Thanks so much for your suggestion!
