Longer nano pro 12w windows 11. Laser connects but when framing just sits in bottom left corner. Even starting burn just sits in corner any help would be appropriate not getting any errors
Did you check the Console window?
Can you upload the Lightburn (.lbrn2) file?
dogtags.lbrn2 (207.1 KB)
laser will fire for constant framing but not move. even starting the job will say streaming and streaming complete but no movement of the laser just stays in the bottom left corner
Looked at the file and did not see any issues. Image, greyscale, 362LPI (see Note: below), Absolute Coords, and so on. Looks good in the Preview window.
- When you do the Run, does the Console mention any activity?
- Do you have Home switches?
- Does it bang the frame or just not move at all?
Note: A 12w diode is not capable of more than 318LPI (0.08 interval). Higher resolutions mean you are just wasting time by overlapping your passes.

when framing idle mpos?
its a nano pro so no moving laser head just the laser beam moves if that makes sense?
That is a report of the stopping position. Turn on Show All in the Console window…
Nope, does not. Beam moves with the head.

just ran a rectangle line. x and y showes movement however the bean itself is not moving
That is a 1” box. The laser is being told to move. If it does not, that is a controller issue.

I thought it was a diode laser, not a galvo. That is entirely different. Did you get a .lbdev file with it?
Correction, I see it is a diode laser on a galvo, not a gantry.
sorry for my lack of knowledge says its a 12w diode when i bought it a few years ago. not sure about a .lbdev file what is that exactly
There was a posting recently about that model, but I forget the details. Give me a few minutes while we both search the Forum for it. ![]()
The file, I think you just drag and drop it onto the Lightburn grid.
UPDATE: I had no luck actually finding an .lbdev file on the Longer site. Maybe @JessN can help you tomorrow.
ok ill try and find the NanoDuo.lbdev and try that
I have Rolymatic Mk2 and it happens after a while it loses the connection. If I restart my laser , it works again.
